 Carmela's Bistro & Wine Bar is a beautiful and fun place to have a light lunch or dinner.Their are two beautiful dining areas to choose from, or when the weather is suitable you can utilize their unique outside dining area. Lunch menus feature light items such as crab cakes, a multitude of savory salads, flat bread pizza's and sandwiches. For dinner you can still go light, or if you have a heartier craving you can sample their hand cut steaks, pork, chicken & seafood entrees. Carmela's has a huge selection of wine, plus if you would like something light to go along with your wine selection, they offer a great selection of cheese and meat plates. The menu is seasonal and changes quite often, so be sure to visit their website to verify that you have the most up-to-date selection. |

 Marci Davison, opened Carmela's Bistro & Wine Bar to great success and praise. Marci utilized her vast experienc in the restaurant industy, having worked at Grisanti's, The Rib Ranch, and at her parents restaurant, The Golden Spur Steakhouse and Saloon in Ogallala, to come up with a truly unique dining experience. Now, you may ask who is Carmela? No, she is not running around Carmela's anywhere. While tiresly searching for a name for her one of a kind bistro, she ran through many great bistro names. However, none of which did she truly love, until she ran accross the name Carmela. Carmela is the Italian, Sicilian and Spanish form of Carmel, meaning "vinyard," Perfect! No other name is quite as fitting. What better in a name for a wine bar than that of which says it in one word. "Carmela!" |
